This issue may be caused because the magnet
under the P8II prevents the compass from pointing, I suggest you remove the two
magnets on the back of the P8II then try again, it doesn’t make any bad influence
to the device. Besides that, there is a compass on the bracket of P8II, you can
confirm the direction by watching it
1. Unscrew the screws on the four corners, then take off the cover
2.
Use a thick enough metal bar to hold the two magnets tightly then remove
them forcefully
